Japan 2018 – Kagawa

🇫🇷 fr à la suite

🇬🇧 My interest for Shikoku dates from my visit at the Salon du Sake in 2017 where I’ve met a sake productor based on the island of Shodoshima. A month later my friend Japan Kudasai was visiting the island and the pictures he posted spoke for themselves and it was then settled: I HAD to go to Shodoshima!

However by the time I was resolved to go I had already booked every hostels until Tokyo. Also it takes at least 4 hours to reach the island from Kurashiki or Kobe (where I stay only 3 days) and Shodoshima is pretty big so if I want to enjoy it thoroughly I’ll have to stay for one night at the least. As Japanese airlines have fairly low price tickets for domestic multidestinations flights I have decided to go to Shodoshima by plane from Tokyo and then fly again to my next destination: Sapporo.

Costs:

  • Sakate, Shodoshima, 3 nights -> 68€
  • JAL airplane tickets: Tokyo/Takamatsu, Takamatsu/Tokyo (3 hours transit)/Sapporo -> 249,5€

shikoku

  • Sakate, Shodoshima, 3 nuits -> 68€
  • JAL airplane tickets: Tokyo/Takamatsu, Takamatsu/Tokyo (3 heures de transit)/Sapporo -> 249,5€
